Taurasi DOCG RISERVA

I vigneti, esposti verso Ovest sono caratterizzati dalla forte pendenza del terreno che favorisce una favorevole esposizione ai raggi solari, garantendo una maturazione ottimale delle uve.
Cerchiamo attraverso potature corte e la pratica della scelta dei germogli, di avere una resa molto bassa, di circa 40q/ettaro.
La raccolta viene effettuata manualmente con cassette di circa 18 kg tra fine ottobre ed inizio di novembre.
La fermentazione segue con macerazione per circa 30 giorni.
L’affinamento in cantina dura dai 3 ai 5 anni, con una permanenza in botte di legno di primo passaggio per oltre un anno.
Dal colore rosso rubino, al naso ricorda la marasca, la vaniglia, il lampone, l’amarena, il ribes nero e uno sbuffo di spezie orientali; il gusto è pieno, equilibrato, con tannini morbidi e dal finale molto lungo e persistente.
Vino da meditazione e da abbinare a piatti concentrati da profumi e sapori intensi.

Our Taurasi is produced exclusively whit Aglianico grapes from our vineyards in Mirabella Eclano. The vineyards, exposed to the West, are characterized by the steep slope of the soil that favors a favorable exposure to the sun’s rays, ensuring an optimal ripening of the grapes. We try through short pruning and the practice of choosing sprouts, to have a very low yeild, of about 40q7hectare. The collection is carries out manually with cassettes of about 18 kg between the end of October and the beginning of November. The fermentation follows with macertion for about 30 days. The refinement in the cellar lasts from 3 to 5 years, with a stay in a wooden barrel of first passage for over a year. With a ruby red color, the nose resembles marasca, vanilla, raspberry, black cherry, black currant and a puff of oriental spices; the taste is full, balanced, with soft tannins and a very long and persistent finish. Meditation wine and to pair with concentrated dishes with intannse scents and flavors.
